As the Head of Central Change PMO you will have primary responsibility and accountability for the formulation, oversight and delivery of the central Programme Office, Change Policy, Change Governance, Change Financial Control and IT Risk.

Key Responsibilities Include:

*Oversee and report to the customer PMO (cPMO) via the Change Committee the effective management of the overall change portfolio budget / "do-ability" and making recommendations / seeking prioritisations were appropriate
*Develop, lead and operate effective change management policies, controls and governance structures and providing oversight of the overall change portfolio
*Manage end to end and report on the change procurement / authorisation process across the business
*Build and deliver a reporting function that reports all required information (including contractual information) to either the Change Committee or Business Change function
*Oversee and lead the effective operation of the IT Governance and risk Teams to ensure internal and external compliance obligations are met
*Oversee the Practice management function to ensure appropriate resource scheduling and capability to deliver

To work as part of a team within the Assurance and Advisory department dealing with a mixed portfolio of clients working to complete both statutory and non statutory accounts and management accounts for unincorporated businesses, medical practices, and limited companies below the audit threshold, and assist in the audits of larger clients within a designated timeframe including working with our specialist public sector team.
Principal duties:

* Gathering of audit evidence through communication and interaction with client staff;
* Prepare analysis of accounting data from clients books and records;
* Ensure audit files have all relevant documentation on the appropriate section; check appropriate and sufficient documentation obtained to support the opinion and documenting all conclusions;
* Involvement in the planning, execution and finalisation of the audit assignment supporting the Senior or Manager;
* Active adherence to budget and timetable, bringing matters to the attention of the senior or manager, particularly when actual time is in excess of budget;
* Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements;

Required skills and experience

Experience required:

* Experience of working in a professional firm, or of working for/on behalf of the Audit Commission, NHS and or Local Government
* Able to approach projects logically, with good numerical skills;
* An attention to detail and accuracy is necessary and an essential part of the role;
* The ability to prioritise and deal with a variety of cases in a methodical manner;
* Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally;
* Demonstrate an ability to work either independently or as part of a team;
* Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft office applications essential.
* A flexible and adaptable approach is essential;
* Full driving licence is necessary
